Improving the marketing of your organisation will help it to provide services, fundraise and campaign more effectively.

Who is it for?

This entry-level course is aimed at small and medium sized voluntary and community groups and is designed for anyone who wants to understand how marketing can help to develop their organisation in a structured manner, without the jargon normally associated with marketing courses.

What is it about?

The training will take a basic, practical and informal approach to the process of marketing planning and will touch briefly on Social Media.

The session will help you understand:

 Where you are now

 Where you want to be

 How you can measure your progress

Delegates will learn:

 The process of marketing planning

 How to produce a basic marketing plan

 Some useful tools to take away

The course will be delivered by Paul Chambers Dip M, MCIM, Chartered Marketer.  Paul has been practicing marketing for over 40 years and teaching it for 15 years.  After working in the commercial sector building household brands like Bostik, Ronseal, and Hammerite paints, Paul spent 15 years working for charities in Cambridgeshire and as a Workforce Development trainer for Cambridgeshire County Council.

Paul developed this course specifically for charities and small voluntary groups.
