New International Encounter (NIE) is an international, award winning and multilingual theatre company based at Cambridge Junction making work for and with young people and touring shows across the world. We have gained recognition and critical success for work that is local, national and international. Our vision is "playful stories that connect us all".

Our performances and projects incorporate physical theatre, storytelling, multiple languages, live music and an international ensemble.

BOARD RECRUITMENT

We are currently recruiting for new board members to join our board and support our exciting programme of local, national and international projects.

Chair
This exciting role requires someone with strategic vision and a leadership role in the performing arts - particularly if they have a knowledge of TYA work. The Chair will guide Trustees and enable them to set overall policy, targets and evaluate performance for this regional thriving organisation with a growing national profile.

Trustees
NIE is recruiting for new board members with professional expertise in performing arts and/ or financial expertise. They should have strong influencing skills and ability to network.
