Reporting to the Head of Concerts and Education and working closely with other key staff including the Chief Executive and Music Director, the newly created post of Participation and Learning Manager  will be responsible for developing and implementing an expanding high-quality learning and engagement programme, delivering an essential strand of AAM’s overall objectives.

Crucial to the role is the nurturing of strategic relationships with organisations including music education hubs, bridge organisations, education institutions and venues. The post is responsible for managing the effective planning, delivery and evaluation of all AAMplify projects.

We are looking for a creative and experienced individual who is passionate about the importance of music in society, with demonstrable experience of developing and facilitating creative arts projects including management of stakeholder relations

You will be a passionate advocate for music and music education and engagement work with sound administration skills including use of standard office software.  Familiarity with orchestra administration software such as OPAS would be advantageous

Key responsibilities include:

Work with the Chief Executive and Head of Concerts and Education to develop a strategic plan for the AAMplify programme, ensuring activity is aligned with AAM’s overall objectives

Devise and budget all AAMplify projects, working closely with the Head of Concerts and Education and other staff as appropriate to ensure all objectives are met

Manage the effective planning, delivery and evaluation of all AAMplify projects including line management of freelance staff
