This is an exciting opportunity to work in a thriving cultural environment, with a shared commitment to income generation, where your entrepreneurial talent, customer flair and commercial aptitude can flourish.

The Henry Moore Foundation, established by one of the greatest sculptors of the twentieth century, owns the largest collection of the artist’s work, which visitors can appreciate at his former home, Henry Moore Studios & Gardens in Perry Green, Hertfordshire, and in exhibitions worldwide. We also provide one of the world's leading centres for the study of sculpture at the Henry Moore Institute in Leeds.

Based in East Hertfordshire, the Head of Enterprise will lead the commercial income generation strategy and visitor services operations for the Henry Moore Foundation. With a proven track record in generating income from commercial sources or charitable fundraising, you will lead a target-driven team, to deliver a programme of profitable events and corporate and philanthropic partnerships that support the Foundation. You will maximise use of the facilities in our beautiful new visitor centre, café and shop, delivering high quality experiences that meet the expectations of a broad range of visitors and partners.

The successful candidate will have at least three years’ management experience in a customer facing, business development or fundraising role. Being self-assured, enthusiastic and results-driven, you will have an eye for an opportunity and the ability to inspire colleagues to collaborate. The appointee will be a confident communicator and will, ideally, have knowledge of copyright licensing, retail and merchandising. You will be a well organised and skilled project manager with excellent people skills, and a sound financial manager who enjoys delivering results.
