Seeking a Family from Coleridge Ward to be part of a new radio series

We are seeking a local family living in the Coleridge Ward of Cambridge, preferably overlooking/surrounding Cambridge Leisure Square to be part of a new Radio series called 'Family Meal'.

The idea is that our radio presenter will join a family for three consecutive meals (lunch, dinner and breakfast) and will make a live sound recording of each meal, featuring the family and the food!

Ideally we are looking for:

- a family that contains people from a wide range of age groups (children and adults)

- a family who will be confident to dine as usual whilst being recorded

- a family who will be eating three consecutive meals at home on the weekend of the 27/28th may 2017

The series will feature on Hunt & Darton's 24HR Radio Local.

Radio Local is a brand new local radio show, which is so local you have to be local to it to hear it. The station aims to get to the heart of a community over a 24 hour period and invites local people to build the show.

On the 27/28th May Radio Local will be performed and edited live, outdoors from Cambridge Leisure square and broadcast live across Cambridge in a take-over of Cambridge 105’s airwaves and online for the full 24 hours. Cambridge 105 Radio is the Community Radio station for Cambridge. Listen online at or on 105 FM.

The work has been commissioned by Cambridge Junction with support from Arts Council England and Cambridge City Council.

If you and your family are interested in helping us to build the show and make this programme please do let us know and we can have a chat wth you more about it. You can email us at or phone Ruth Moore on 01223 403 357.

We look forward to hearing from you!
