CAN Conference 2018

Our Creative Assets - opportunities for the arts and culture sector in a prospering city

Cambridge is a small, but world famous, cutting edge city undergoing unprecedented levels of growth. The next few years are critical as its new shape takes hold, and the time is ripe to ask, “How can the wide range of arts and cultural organisations and practitioners based in and around Cambridge play a part in this process?”  Join us for a one day event exploring this question, along with examples of practice and opportunities for discussion and networking.

We are pleased to confirm that Anglia Ruskin University are again hosting us, this year, in their performing arts department an appropriate setting for a day of discussions examining the future of creativity in our city.

We look forward to presenting a programme of stimulating talks and breakout sessions covering topics including:

  • Ambition and Quality in Arts & Tech
  • Collaborating with Communities
  • Talent Development
  • Working with Academics to Demonstrate Impact
  • Challenging Inequality

Conferences attendees will experience a programme of keynote presentations and 2 seminar sessions, as well as opportunities to network over lunch and refreshments.
