The Cambridge City Council ChYpPS team has been working on a financial literacy project for young people to help raise their awareness about the importance of managing their money.

To get the message across in a fun and engaging way, the council has commissioned the theatre company Alter Ego (who delivered Tough Love and Chelsea’s Choice) to devise a play called 'Money Matters' which raises awareness of the dangers of not facing up to financial responsibilities. The play is aimed at year 10/11 students and will be touring all secondary schools in the city between the  4 and 15 December.

There will be two out of school showings on the 5 December, one at the Guildhall at 10.30am followed by an after school showing at Brown's Field Community Centre at 4.30pm. The performances are free, if anyone would like to attend please contact Caroline Gill on 01223 457871 or email caroline.gill@cambridge.gov.uk
