Calling Volunteer Tree Planters for Community Art Project

The Cambridge Community Collection is a community art project by Neville Gabie, which sets out to plant a publicly accessible orchard of 1400 varieties of native apple tree linking the southern fringe to the city centre.

We are looking for volunteers to come along and get involved with planting on the following dates:

  • Saturday 25th November meeting at 10 AM on Addenbrookes Road next to Hobson’s Brook.
  • Saturday 25th November meeting at 2 PM at Brabaham Road park-and-ride.
  • Sunday 26th November meeting at 10 AM at Trumpington park-and-ride.

Anyone can come along and get involved.

Clothing and equipment:-
Please wear suitable outdoor boots or wellington boots and bring a waterproof jacket.
Gardening gloves would be useful and if any of you have garden spades or forks, then please bring these along as well, however do not worry if you don’t have any equipment.
